Emily Oxenford

Emily J. Oxenford joined ASA for the academic year 2010-2011, and earned her Master of Science in Information Management (MSIM) degree from the University of Washington in the spring of 2011. Emily then joined the Seattle-based firm Moss Adams LLP, where she provides her clients with a wide variety of business and finance research as a senior analyst. Emily contributed eight of the research notes in the first volume of Reflections on Risk, then compiled and edited the 26 research notes in Reflections on Risk II. She is the editor of ASA News & Notes, our monthly newsletter; and the editor of the forthcoming volume, Reflections on Risk III.

Other former ASA Research Associates provided valuable contributions to the firm while enhancing their educational credentials. The ASA Institute for Risk and Innovation established a Research Associate internship program with the University of Washington's Information School in the fall of 2009 that ran until the spring of 2014.

Divya Yadav photo

Divya Yadav joined ASA for the 2013-2014 academic year. She received her Bachelor of Engineering degree from Uttar Pradesh Technical University, and the Master of Science in Information Management (MSIM) degree from the University of Washington's Information School in 2014. Her work in India included work with HCL and Satyam. In Seattle, Divya was also a Research Assistant on the US Impact Study sponsored by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. She has since accepted a position with PriceWaterhouseCoopers.

Devin Luco joined ASA for the 2012-2013 academic year. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from the University of Washington's Foster School of Business, with an emphasis on accounting and finance. His prior experience included the financial planning group of The Boeing Company, where he was a business analysis; and a 2013 summer internship at KPMG. He received his Master of Science in Information Managment from the UW School of Information in 2014, and has accepted a position with Accenture.

 

Andrew Hansen photo

Andrew H.R. Hansen joined ASA for the 2011-2012 academic year. He compiled the 22 research notes that are part of ASA’s 2012 book, Reflections on Risk. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems from the University of Utah, and received his Master of Science in Information Management from the University of Washington’s School of Information in June of 2012. He is a skilled researcher with experience at Boeing, H-11 Digital Forensics, the State of Utah and Reviews.com. He and currently works for a Seattle-based mobile analytics company.

 

 

Shirish K. Munshi

Shirish K. Munshi joined ASA for a summer internship in June of 2010, and is the author of several research notes. He has produced three issues of the ASA newsletter and completed focused research for ASA clients. He is a graduate of the University of Mumbai, with a degree in engineering and IT. He received his Master of Science in Information Management (MSIM) in the spring of 2011, and has since accepted a position with PriceWaterhouseCoopers.

 

Akshay Bhagwatwar

Akshay Bhagwatwar joined ASA in the fall of 2009. As the first Research Associate to join the ASA Institute for Risk and Innovation, Akshay published several research notes, and designed and launched the ASA newsletter in fall 2010. Akshay received his Bachelor of Engineering from the University of Mumbai, majoring in Information Technology. He received his master's degree from the UW Information School in June of 2010, and is now a PhD candidate at Indiana University's highly esteemed Kelly School of Businessl.

 

Lauren Du Graf

Lauren Du Graf is a Ph.D. candidate in Comparative Literature at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Lauren worked closely with Annie Searle and the web-design team in 2009 to prepare content for the launch of anniesearle.com and architect the services of the company. She continues to advise on brand, publications, and website strategy as she completes her degree.
