Teaching

Annie has been teaching since 2012 at the University of Washington in the Information School. What was an guest lecturer position turned into a full-time faculty lecturer position in 2015. In the fall of 2019, she became a senior lecturer.

Searle is the academic advisor to the UW Student Chapter of ISACA, and iSchool liaison to the UW Jackson School’s Global Cybersecurity Policy Initiative.

Searle’s specific teaching areas are information management, ethics and conduct risk, cybersecurity, global response around potentially catastrophic events, reputation risk, leadership, and crisis management.
